The YMCA, also known as the Salisbury Hotel, is a pleasant place to stay in Hong Kong, and is re reasonably priced. It is located near the Star Ferry and the Tsim Sha Tsui metro station ( exit L2). Our room in the hotel was on the 14th floor and was quite large and comfortable. There was lots of hot water in the en suite. We took the American breakfast every day which was served to us. The staff all spoke very good English and they were most helpful. The hotel has a checkout time of noon. If you have a late flight then you can have a shower in the pool and gym area before you leave. Our one niggle is that there is only one lift to service 14 floors, so the lift service can be a bit slow at times.
